STAIN Kepri Chair Sends Off Pencak Silat Athletes to the 3rd International Batam Pencak Silat Open Championship

Bintan, Kampus Bersendikan Wahyu Berteraskan Ilmu –The State Islamic College of Sultan Abdurrahman Riau Islands (STAIN Kepri) officially sent off student athletes from the Pencak Silat Student Activity Unit (UKM IPS) to take part in the 3rd International Batam Pencak Silat Open Championship, which will be held from 5–10 November 2025.

The send-off ceremony took place in the office of the STAIN Kepri Chair and was attended by Dr H. Muhammad Faisal, M.Ag, STAIN Kepri Silat Advisor MHD. Abror, M.Ag, Chairperson of the Pencak Silat UKM Muhammad Fahrul, Vice Chairperson Jumiadi, and the athletes who will be competing.

In his remarks, Dr H. Muhammad Faisal, M.Ag expressed his full support for the STAIN Kepri pencak silat athletes, especially in an international event such as this. “We pray that our athletes will perform at their best and bring honour to our institution on the international stage,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Advisor, Chairperson, and Vice Chairperson of the STAIN Kepri Pencak Silat UKM expressed their gratitude for the prayers, permission, and support extended by the institution. Muhammad Fahrul and Jumiadi conveyed their hopes that the participation of the seven athletes representing the college as official competitors would yield the best possible results.
