This national selection route offers a strategic opportunity for Year 12 students from SMA, SMK, MA, and other equivalent educational institutions across Indonesia to continue their studies in Islamic higher education based on academic achievement — without a written test.

The initial stage of SPAN-PTKIN begins with the completion of the School and Student Database (PDSS) by schools. PDSS data serves as the main prerequisite for students to register independently through the official SPAN-PTKIN portal. Therefore, educational institutions are encouraged to ensure the accuracy and completeness of students’ academic data before finalisation.

1. PDSS Data Entry by Schools: 5 January – 7 February 2026
2. PDSS Verification and Finalisation: 5 January – 9 February 2026
3. SPAN-PTKIN Registration by Students: 11 February – 28 February 2026
